If you haven't booked a hotel yet, a native of Amsterdam recommends
Hotel Fita (for some reason the site can look very tiny when using Firefox but looks fine in other browsers). It's not super fancy, but it's in a beautiful section of the city and not far from the theater. It also received excellent reviews on Trip Advisor.
Also, if after reading the abstract of my presentation on Concept Design Tools (and soon, the 2-page article which gives it more context) you have particular questions, I'd love to hear your thoughts prior to the event. Just leave a comment here on the blog.
